When I joined the product team for LearnXpert, an AI-powered Learning and Training Management System (LTMS) by AJARI Technologies and Presight, we had one goal:
To design a learning experience that feels intelligent, human, and truly personalized.
The L&D Dilemma
Despite rapid digital transformation, most organizations (especially in the public sector) still rely on static, one-size-fits-all training systems.
According to global studies:
70% of employees feel disengaged during government training programs (Gallup, 2023)
60% of public institutions struggle to find skilled, job-ready workers (PwC, 2024)
Inside these legacy systems, we kept encountering the same problems:
Fragmented learning platforms
Manual progress tracking
Low learner engagement
Minimal collaboration between departments
It became clear that the problem wasn’t content overload, it was a lack of context.
People weren’t just unmotivated, they were disconnected from their learning journey.
Understanding the Problem
Through research sessions and interviews with employees, HR managers, and trainers, we mapped out the real gaps behind the metrics.
Our main insight was simple yet powerful:
People don’t need more courses.
They need a companion that understands how they learn.
Reframing the Challenge
We reframed the design problem into a human question:
“How might we create an L&D experience that’s intelligent enough to adapt to each learner, yet simple and empathetic enough for everyone to use?”
That’s how Upskill Hub was born, a centralized, AI-driven learning ecosystem that connects all learning activities in one space.
At its core sits NISA, the Neural Interactive Systematic Assistant.
She’s not just a chatbot, but a learning companion who guides, supports, and grows with every user
The Solution — LearnXpert for L&D
NISA curates adaptive learning journeys that evolve with the learner’s progress. Modules unlock at the right pace, and recommendations are made dynamically, turning learning into a guided adventure rather than a static checklist
